- Hope I dun confuse people more with this simple reply.

- Buad is a measure of number of signal element per sec. Each signal
- element, depending on the modulation technique used, can encode 1, 2, 3
- or more bits in it. If only 1 bit is represented in 1 signal element,
- then baud aprox bps (dun forget stopbit, chksum etc)

- BPS - The normal bit per sec we know. So, BPS is more of what we need to
- find out when buying a modem. But then, mot vendor dun tell this info.
