- I seem to have screwed up a disk drive. I have a Maxtor 8760s 676 Meg.
- hard drive. The problem is that it only thinks it has about 300 megs.
- Somehow i managed to change the information on the disk that says how
- many cylinders it has. The only way I thought I could change it was
- through installing our interactive unix on it. There is a step in the
- install that ask if you would like to change the info. When i tried,
- it told me the controller would not allow me to change the cylinder
- information.
-
- How can I make this scsi disk know how many cylinders it really has?
