  24. With PD, I can distribute the program and source as part of my own program
  25. without any problems. With freeware (most of the time) I still have to get 
  26. the permission from the author to distribute his/her program & source code.
  27. (Unless stated that I can distribute it whatever I want).
  28. For example if I want to include a UUDECODE/ENCODE program as part of my
  29. own program then I would look for a PD implementation first since I can
  30. do whatever I want with the program/source code.
