- I like McAfee's VirusScan and Clean programs.
- They are available as shareware (I think the registration costs $35-- still
- cheaper than retail software!).
- It is revised almost monthly to find more (recent) viruses.
- It is EASY to use.
- It works!!!!!! I speak from experience (unfortunately, a bad experience).
- McAfee specializes in Virus software.
- Other companies (Norton, Central Point, etc) just produce anti-virus programs
- on the side, but their main focus is the larger stuff.
- There really is no reason to spend more money than you have to for a
- good, reliable Anti-Virus program.
