- It sounds like you are running IBM PC-DOS on your clone. If so, BASICA
- will not run on your clone because IBM BASICA needs to have IBM ROM
- BASIC installed in the computer to run properly. You can do one of
- two things:

- 1. Install MS-DOS instead of PC-DOS on your system and use its
- version of BASICA or GWBASIC, or
- 2. Get an IBM ROM BASIC rom from an old PC and install it in your
- system.
