  22. From my experience, that $100 commercial package is more likely to be
  23. useless than the shareware. Shareware authors have to be sure that they
  24. deliver what they promise -- not so with commercial software. I'd rather
  25. spend the time evaluating several shareware programs than buying a
  26. commercial program that promises the usual -- 'easy setup, intuitive
  27. interface, will instantly solve all your problems' -- and turns out to
  28. be unusable for one reason or other, and being forced to waste time
  29. returning it (if possible), buying another program, or learning some
  30. bizarre this-program-only user interface.
