  12. I'm using a DOS program that expects to print directly to a dinky
  13. parallel printer of some sort. The computer is on a Novell network
  14. with an HPIIIsi in PS mode, so I can't print anything. 
  15.  
  16. What I would like to do is redirect the output (from lpt1 or lpt2) to
  17. a file so I could use some other utility to print it to the HPIIIsi or
  18. transport by floppy to some other place.

  20. Tech support at the software place thought there was a utility
  21. something like "lprx" or "lpxr" to do this. 
  22.  
  23. archie inundated me with lpr* items. Does anybody out there know
  24. _where_ to get the _right_ thing?

  26. To clarify, if needed: the program will print to lpt1 or lpt2. I want 
  27. to assign lpt1 or lpt2 to be a file, exit the program and print to the 
  28. HP using some other utility transport by floppy to a computer at
  29. another location that has a dot-matrix printer. Other suggestions to
  30. solve this problem would be appreciated.
