  12. In a recent post, somebody mentioned that 586 clones will start appearing
  13. this Fall, and that they will be relatively cheap.  I assume that their 
  14. release will drive the current prices on 486's and 386's down even further.

  16. I plan to buy a 386 or 486 system soon, but I think it might be a good idea
  17. to wait for lower prices when the 586 comes out (I can wait up to 2 months).

  19. My questions are:

  21.   1. Will there be 586's in the market within 2 months?

  23.   2. Will the 586's drive down significantly the prices of 486's and 386's, 
  24.      or are these machines already priced close to their cost, leaving little
  25.      room for lower prices?

  27. and the most important question:

  29.   3. Should I wait?
