  16.     I am using a Commodore PC40 computer with a green screen and
  17. I have a Commodore 1802 colour monitor( From a commodore 64).  The connection 
  18. comming out of the 1802 monitor is a circular 8 pin plug with wires only 
  19. attached to the pins 2,4,6,8 (8 is in centre).  I wish to commect this colour 
  20. monitor up to the PC40 but the connection required to connect is a 9 pin plug 
  21. in the following shape:

  27. The manual for the adapter card in the PC says that it will take a monochrome 
  28. monitor(using 6 of the 9 pins) or a Colour monitor (using 9 of the 9 pins) 
  29. or a Composite monitor (using 3 of the 9 pins).

  31. Is the 1802 monitor a composite monitor?
  32. The manual for the monitor says hardley anything.

  34. Can it be connected to the PC ?  ...If so how ? (which pins go where)
