- Hi. I am trying to buy an 16-bit ethernet 10 base T card so I can
- hookup to my school network. I have dell 486 DX2 50 with 8 Mb RAM,
- Pheonix BIOS with ISA bus. I really haven't fooled arounded with
- network much, so I have no Idea what to watch for when I buy an ethernet
- card. I am looking at:
- FastData 16bit Ethernet card 10baseT for $109 by Fast Micro Inc.
- Intel 16bit Ethernet 10TP (I hope it stands for 10baseT) for $129
-
- I would appreciate any tips, experiences, etc. Thanks.
