- OK, so I went out and bought a 486/33 with an ATI Ultra card.
- Then, I got a Music Quest MIDI card.
- This is where the problem began.
-
- The card comes with a program called "easy8.exe" - a simple sequencer.
- I got that working just fine. I have the card set to default vals:
- IRQ 2 Addr: 330.
-
- I boot up windows, install the MPU-401 driver, setup to IRQ2/330.
- I reboot.
- I get an error message saying that there is a hardware conflict with
- the MPU401 driver, please adjust hardware.
-
- I exit windows and try to boot up "easy8". It says "can't find hardware".
-
- So, apparenly, something about windows is screwing up my settings or
- *something*.
-
- I've already tried the LPAC driver, to no avail.
-
- Please, if anyone can help me out. I'd be quite appreciative.
