- If it works in an XT, then there is a BIOS extension chip on the controller
- itself. This BIOS extension takes over the write-to-disk bios calls from
- your system BIOs, so you don't have to tell your system BIOS that you have
- a disk at all. Try setting your CMOS to "No hard disk installed." It should
- boot just fine. Mine does.
