  10. Hi, I just found an old machine lying around the place that has a dual
  11. serial card in it with a 16450 chip driving them both.

  13. Now, I know that a 16550 is useful because it has buffers and shit,
  14. but does a 16450 have anything similar?

  16. I'll probably chuck it into my machine anyway (once I work out how to
  17. set up all four serial ports together under Windows) but would like to
  18. know a little more about it first.
