- Hi,
-
- My sister's buying a PC clone soon. She lives in Ann Arbor, MI, and is
- considering buying mail order. I wonder whether you might be able to
- give her any information about a small computer company based in east
- Brunswick, NJ called Quantex. Their 386-40MZ computer got a very
- positive review in PC sources magazine (August). Its a small, newer
- company and I'm wondering if anyone on the network has had dealings
- with this company and what they think of the product and of the
- service. Also, what are the risks involved in dealing with small,
- upstart mail order companies in general. Oh, and does anyone have an
- opionion on AMD microchips versus those made by Intel (The quantex 386
- has an AMD microchip)
-
- Please respond to my sister, Faith, at:
- Faith.Pratt@um.cc.umich.edu
-
- (or write to me and I'll forward responses)
-
- Thanks in advance for any help!
