  12. Does anybody know anything or have any experience with this unit? I've seen
  13. it for US$368 with 5 free discs which sounds attractive. Plus it is an
  14. external unit with external play controls which makes it easy to use and
  15. requires no caddy. However it is not MPC compatible (seek time is 700ms).
  16. Is this a problem with multimedia or will it mean it will take longer
  17. to find tracks. The Tandy CD ROM which is bundled with their multimedia
  18. system has a seek time approaching 1s but it seems to be okay.
