  14. I swapped a 2400 modem with a friend and now have an
  15. old Telebit Trailblazer. There was no manual (does this sound
  16. familiar to you?) and there's this funnny problem.

  18. The board appears as COM1 3E8H IRQ4, but Telix says its talking to the
  19. board on COM3. When I plug in my mouse card which has 2 serial ports,
  20. the modem appears as COM3 but I can't talk to it and my mouse (on
  21. COM1) wont work. The aweful solution thus far is to unplug the serial
  22. card eah time I wont to use the modem!

  24. Now the Trailblazer has has some jumpers on it (ah ha!) but I have no
  25. idea what they do and changing any of them stops it from working at
  26. all. Here are the details:

  28. The Trailblazer has a pc board number (solder side at the top)
  29. 10122-01 REV B. The serial number is 016130096. There are 3 sets of
  30. jumpers 1) by the end of the 68000, three jumpers with a clip over the
  31. lower 2. 2) by the slot, 6 jumpers with clips on 2-3 and 4-5, and 3) a
  32. row of 3, just above the second one, with a clip over the rearmost 2
  33. pins.

  35. Would some kind soul be able to put me out of my misery with info on
  36. these jumpers or some other way to solve the problem?

  38. I tried changing the mouse serial ports address and IRQ but with no
  39. success.
