- Is it possible to connect some PC to form a distributed system? For
- example, i have 5 PCs, each has a 80486 processor, 4M ram, and 200M
- hard disk space. I would like to connect these 5 PCs, so they can
- share resources with each others, especially running a big job with
- 5 CPU and having a shared memory(RAM).
-
- If this is possible, what extra hardware/software do i need? If not,
- what's wrong and what extend of resource sharing can be achived?
- Any help will be appreciated.
