  11. Hi all,

  13.     I am shopping for a fairy cheap (ie, affordable) VGA/SVGA card.
  14. I wonder if you people can give me some advice.  I am looking for a SVGA
  15. card which can be used on 16bit (AT bus) as well as 8bit (XT bus) 
  16. systems.  Which brand would give me the most bang for the buck?  
  17. is $150 for such a card (with 512k ram) unrealistic?  do most programs 
  18. require 1024k Vram instead of 512k? are those <$100 ones any good?
  19. (I am on a very very limited budget)
