- I have a Wavemate 286 XT Bullet motherboard and would like to upgrade the BIOS
- chip. Should I purchase BIOS for an XT, or BIOS for a 286? Will either
- work?
-
- For those of you who have never heard of such a motherboard, think of it as
- a "286 SX" where the internal to the processor is 16 bits, but external is
- 8 bits. i.e.: It has an 80286 CPU and an XT bus.
