  12. I have a 1 meg SVGA trident 8900 card.
  13. i have heard rumors that there are some problems with this card and graphic 
  14. instensive programs. eg Windows 3.1
  15.  
  16. The reason i give this example is that i have just installed windows
  17. and my system keeps hanging. I donot think it is the software as my flat
  18. mate has the same system installed and no problems at all.

  20. I have also noticed some static on the monitor when i run video intensive
  21. programs like demos and such.

  23. My hardware setup is:-

  25. processor :          '486sx
  26. memory :        4 meg.
  27. Harddisk :        100 meg ide drive.
  28. Vga card :        1 meg Trident 8900.
  29. Vga Monitor :        1024x768x256.

  31. BTW i was running windows with the trident video driver in 600x800x256 fast 
  32. mode.
