- Greetings,
-
- I am attempting to get a used 286 motherboard I purchased working and have
- some questions regarding the setup and dip switch settings. I don't really
- know who manufactured the board but I can describe it and if anyone has
- a similar board I would appreciate any suggestions as to how to configure
- this beastie.
-
- The board:
-
- A full size AT board with 6 16 bit and 2 8 bit slots
- AWARD BIOS Ver. 3.03
- 12 Mhz cpu under a heat sink enclosure (Its a little square chip that just
- sits under a wire fastened cover.)
- 1 Meg of memory on board (512 K of 4256K drams soldered on the motherboard.)
- (512 K of 4256 drams socketed " " " )
- A standard 3 pin battery connection near the power supply connector.
- A built in buzzer (instead of a speaker connection.)
- A socket for a 20287 math coprocessor.
- A little white and blue module that contains 8 small dip switches located
- in the lower right quarter of the board.
-
- If anyone has a similar board, I would be grateful if you
- could email me info on the dip switches and the cmos setup details.
-
- Thanks in advance.
