  14. A friend of mine has a Trident 8900C VGA card and a 
  15. Sony Trinitron GVM-1311Q monitor (television?).
  16. It works fine in graphics mode, but in text mode it looks like 
  17. there's a timing problem...the screen is covered with flickering
  18. lines, and there's no text visible at all.
  19. Luckily, his autoexec starts windows for him, so his machine
  20. is (kinda) useable, but he'd sure like this fixed.
