  16. I have a problem with an ESDI.  My controller is an Ultrastor 12F
  17. w/32K cache. I have a Magtron 170M disk connected, and I want to
  18. add a Fujitsu 415M as a second drive.

  20. Problem: The Ultrastor setup utility doesnt recognize the second
  21.          drive. When in the drive parameter menu, the second drive is
  22.          listed as type "none", 0 cylinders etc...I can access the 
  23.          second drive(Fujitsu) if I set it up alone. So the problem
  24.          That the drive connected to the middle of the controller
  25.          cable is not found.

  27. Some facts: 
  28.          1) the second drive(Fuj)(middle connector of controller)
  29.             has the terminator resistor removed
  30.          2) both drives are set as drive 2 as specified for a twisted
  31.             controller cable
  32.          3) there are no master or slave switches
  33.          4) both drives are hard sectored (35 sec & 54 sec)
  34.          5) both are set to spin up on power up
  35.          6) yes, Ive tried new cables
  36.          7) the connectors are on correctly (ie pin 1--->pin 1)
