- I have a DAT drive on a UNIX 386 computer system that I would like to
- use as a portable tape backup for several MS-DOS 386/486 PCs.
-
- I have in front of me an ad for a "MiniSCSI Plus", a device that lets
- you "...run a CD-ROM, tape drive, SCSI hard disk...or other SCSI device
- from almost any parallel port." Does anyone have any experience with
- this (or similar) device?
-
- If it indeed works as advertised ($229, BTW), would I need special SCSI
- drivers for the DAT? (It came with a UNIX driver but no MS-DOS driver).
- It's a WangDAT 1300.
-
- Thanks,
- Pete
