  11. I bought an Anadex Silent Scribe (model DP-9620A) dot-matrix printer for $5,
  12. but it doesn't work.  It beeps when I power it up, when I turn it off-line,
  13. and when I try to print to it through the parallel interface (at least I believe
  14. it is a parallel interface).  Does anyone know what the printer is trying to
  15. tell me?  I don't think it is a false paper-out signal because the LED flashes
  16. when the paper is out.

  18. Does anyone have the manual for this printer?  I'd like to try the serial
  19. interface, but I don't know what the 4 DIP switch blocks should be set to.
  20. Anadex doesn't appear to be in business anymore in Chatsworth, CA and the
  21. TRW repair service phone number stuck on the printer is no longer in service.
  22. BTW, it looks like a well-built printer.
