  16. Hi, all the kind souls:
  17.     I've just noticed that the chips on the board of 
  18. my hard drive (a seagate IDE) are very hot: I can barely 
  19. touch them with my hand. Is this normal? If not, is there
  20. any way  to cool down the drive?
