- Does DOS 5's EMM386.EXE provide emulated EMS? If so does this explain
- the reduction in performance when this driver is installed.

- So what is the optimal way to set up EMS so that it can be accessed as
- efficiently as conventional memory. Is an EMS driver which is specific to
- the particular chipset being used required, or can EMM386 do the job?
