  24. things like momentum.  The graphics were very lame (white and black circles),
  25. but to be honest, I didn't really mind.  They put out "official" NFL disks
  26. as well as some college disks.  I read recently (forgot where) that Bethesda
  27. was planning a Gridiron II.  Has anyone else heard anything about this?  The
  28. next "most playable" football game I've played is probably John Madden FB '92
  29. on the Genesis.  From the reviews I've seen here, it appears that JM II on the
  30. PC doesn't even come close.  If only they could have provided the Genesis
  31. version + season play + injuries/substitutions/stats, I think I would have
  32. had my "ultimate" football game :-)

  34. I purchased Mike Ditka "ultimate" football and I can't believe I actually kept
  35. it.  It was one of my first PC games and I guess I figured that was about the
  36. best I could expect on a PC.  After purchasing Links386, however, I tend to
  37. think someone could write a pretty killer football simulation.

  40. XOR's NFL Challenge 3.0 and EOA's Michael Jordan In-Flight.  Anyone heard
  41. anything about possible release dates for either of these?

  43. On a semi-related note, what's the consensus view on Hardball III?  I seem to
  44. remember some pretty scathing reviews here on the net, but both the GameBytes
  45. reviews seem to be pretty positive.
