- If this message somehow gets sent wrongly at all just junk it, as I am new to
- this sort of thing
-
- What I am not new to is Civilisation. Wow what a brilliant game. After
- reading a review in the local paper, I went out and bought the game, and
- I have to say the manual is thorough don't you think.
-
- However, I will not say that I am great at it. I have progressed to be
- feeling confident with the 2nd bottom level (chieftain I think) but
- recently I went back and played at the bottom level and got basically
- thrashed!!!
-
- Something wrong here!!
-
- Recently I saw some postings of some stratedgy for Civilization, and if
- anyone has them stored I would greatly appreaciate a copy of them, or
- even a replky on the network.
-
- Usually what I do is to build some Militia at the start to increase
- the radius of the city, then build a barrack, granary, phalanx to
- properly defend the city. My idea is to try and get each city going well
- before thinking of expanding.
-
- After about three cities I switch to Monarchy to get the cities rolling
- and after finishing all the improvements of the surrounding land, do I
- change to Democracy or the Republic.
-
- Please Please, Don't fail to criticize me, I NEED IT. ANy useful comments
- or strategy would be greastly appreciated.
-
- Also, I noticed that there is quite a bit of traffic ibnvolved in civilisation
- and maybe it would be more appropriate to set up a new group
-
- Shoot me if I'm wrong but I am relatively new to Unix
-
- I apologise for any stupid mistakes, spelling or otherwise
-
- regards to all Civilisation gamers
