- Sounds like the problem I was recently having where on my 486DX-33 the joystick
- was quite untrimmable on some games. After plugging it into my SoundBlaster
- game port (on the advice of a fellow netter), it now works fine except on the
- following games:
- - A10 Tank Killer V1.5
- - Red Baron
- It will work; however, on the slower speed (i.e., without the "turbo" button on)
- but this, of course, makes the game jumpy as hell. They did, however, work fine
- on my 386-33 (before I sold it and bought the 486). Perhaps these games can't
- handle the higher speeds yet. Hmmmm.... Anyone else got a thunk on this one?
-
- Norm.
-
- P.S. Someone also suggested obtaining another game port card such as a Gravis
- board since it has an external switch to handle higher speeds.
