- EPIC is a so-called "Space Opera" game that is like Wing Commander only as
- much as it's a 3d space-combat simulator. The graphics are vector-based
- (so it looks a little like _Star Blade_ in the arcades, only 320x240x256
- and the animation isn't as smooth). The missions vary somewhat as the
- one I saw (the first one, actually) was simple mine-sweeping to allow a
- fleet to get through a minefield.

- If you liked Wing Commander but would prefer vector-based graphics over the
- shaded bitmaps of WC, then this could be for you. I don't have it, I've only
- seen it. Overall, it looked OK.
