- I happen to have the May copy of "Computer Graphics World" with me.
- The Battletech Centre gets mentioned in an article about entertainment
- based VR (Virtual Reality). It doesn't mention how much it costs to play,
- but the article states "The cost of a Battletech Centre starts at about
- $750,000 and increases depending on how elaborate it is and how many
- stations it contains". The article says that there are plans to open
- a Battletech Centre in Japan, and that a licencing system is being
- developed for future centres "Probably the West Coast would be next".
-
- The article also mentions a new arcade machine by Sega called
- the R360. It's an aircraft cockpit style machine with 360 degrees of
- rotation on 2 axes (the cockpit will turn 360 dergee rolls and loops).
- No price was mentioned. It wouldn't suprise me if R360's can be
- networked together. Just the thing to dial up Genie and play AirWarrior
- on. 8-)
