- Why is it that the SCC-1 crowd is having trouble coming to grips
- with the fact that they bought a new, bleeding edge device for
- which support is sparse? Can they seriously expect support for
- the SCC-1 to spring up overnight?
-
- When I first bought the LAPC-1, next to nothing supported it.
- I knew that going in! (You _hopefully_ don't go spending $425 on
- a sound card without knowing full well what you're getting into.)
- I didn't expect game companies to bend over backwards for me. If
- the card was worthy of support through its quality and market
- penetration, I knew support would follow.
-
- Now, more than two years later, the card has become fully
- supported and I couldn't be happier with it (a little PAS-16
- augmentation, notwithstanding.)
-
- Give it time!
-
- Now, shall we start the inevitable thread about lackluster Turtle
- Beach support?
