  21. Why is it that the SCC-1 crowd is having trouble coming to grips
  22. with the fact that they bought a new, bleeding edge device for
  23. which support is sparse? Can they seriously expect support for
  24. the SCC-1 to spring up overnight?

  26. When I first bought the LAPC-1, next to nothing supported it.
  27. I knew that going in! (You _hopefully_ don't go spending $425 on 
  28. a sound card without knowing full well what you're getting into.)
  29. I didn't expect game companies to bend over backwards for me. If
  30. the card was worthy of support through its quality and market
  31. penetration, I knew support would follow.

  33. Now, more than two years later, the card has become fully 
  34. supported and I couldn't be happier with it (a little PAS-16
  35. augmentation, notwithstanding.)

  39. Now, shall we start the inevitable thread about lackluster Turtle 
  40. Beach support?
