  16. Having been there fairly recently, I might be able to provide some more info:
  17.    It's the "BattleTech Center" in North Pier Mall, which is out towards
  18. Lake Michigan, just north of the water arc. A single session is 10 minutes
  19. in an advanced Inner Sphere 'Mech. Prices range from $6.00 per session
  20. (during the week, daytime) to $8.00 per session (weekend and Friday nights).
  21.    There are four mech possibilites (Thor, Loki, Madcat, Vulture) each with
  22. four variants (only three for the Vulture).  Each mech has different
  23. weaponry, armor and speeds. There are a _lot_ of options in the cockpit, and
  24. the simulators do have some occasional nasty bugs. [If you go, ask about the
  25. "stuck pedals" and "throttle wraparound". It's important to know about if
  26. you're going to play seriously.]
  27.    As a last comment, if you want to play for real, it's worth it to buy the
  28. handbook before you step into a cockpit. You learn a _lot_ more about the
  29. 'Mech if you read through it first.
  30.    All in all, though, it's a blast. Personally, the next time I'm in
  31. Chicago, I'm gonna plunk down $100.00 and tell them that I want to play
  32. until the money runs out. :-)
