  25. slide the cursor over non-destructively.  The backspace key should be
  26. destructive.  If it worked like that it would be just like a real VT102
  27. terminal, right?

  29. Thanks for all the replies, I did set my backspace to non-destructive but
  30. then vi takes it as destructive when it shows non-destructive on my screen.
  31. I guess the problem is basically that vi and real terminals make a 
  32. distinction between the left arrow key and the backspace key, while PcPlus
  33. apparently does not.  Oh, well, I guess its not so bad as long as I keep
  34. track of vi, in my head.
