  13. Arrrgg!  I am no longer able to stand being without an interface cable.  Does
  14. anyone know where someone could get one for real cheap (I I don't have the
  15. $100 that HP wants for it's package).  A do-it-yourself kit or anything would
  16. be fine.  Please mail any sources to walton@cs.utah.edu.  Thanks.

  18. P.S.  In looking at these programs posted to the net I see uuencode files
  19.   (which I know how to work with) and ?.asc files (which I know nothing about)
  20.   Are they both supposed to represent the same data, just different ways of
  21.   encoding it for transmission, or are both files needed for the complete
  22.   program?  And where could I get the ?.asc encoder/decoder for the Macintosh?
  23.   Thanks for any help that anyone can offer (I looked in the manual about
  24.   data transfer, and found only information on the %%HP header, not about the
  25.   data format, what I've seen posted doesn't look like RPL or ML in standard
  26.   ascii text).
