  16. I suspect it is done deliberately so that it *will* pull out easily. If a
  17. piece of equipment were to be pulled, or were to move accidentally, it is far
  18. better that the power cord be disconnected by the plug coming out rather than
  19. having wires pulled out of a plug. That could easily cause a fire or 
  20. electrocution.
