  17. I believe that OSF has announced that they are getting out of the OS
  18. business and that 1.1 (which is just a "bug fix" release of 1.0, which
  19. was based on AIX and is not a mach kernel) will be the last OS from OSF.
  20. This was written up in recent (July?) issues of both UNIX World and
  21. UNIX Review.  The current issue of one of these (sorry I get them confused)
  22. has a quote from someone at HP to the effect that HP has abandoned any
  23. plans for adopting OSF.
