- I suspect that error message is generated by either the compiler, "make", or
- the shell, and not by "ld" itself. It simply indicates that "ld" died due to
- signal (138-128) = 10 = SIGBUS. In other words, "ld" crashed and dumped core.
- It produced no error message about that; whoever called "ld" did. I don't work
- on the PA linker, though, so I have no clue as to why the linker died.
