- The situation is even more strange than that:

- HP *do* supply the Xaw and Xmu libraries (/usr/lib/X11R4/libXaw.sl and
- /usr/lib/X11R4/libXmu.sl), but *don't* supply the Xaw or Xmu include files !

- They also don't supply imake as a lot of people have found out.

- The anonymous FTP site ftp.csc.liv.ac.uk will sort this problems for you:

- /hpux/X11/imake-4.00.tar.Z has a complete ready-to-install imake and
- /hpux/X11/Xaw-4.00.tar.Z contains the Xaw and Xmu include files.

- Install these two on your system and you should be able to compile most of the
- X11R4 packages around (of which ftp.csc.liv.ac.uk has over 150 tested on
- Series 700 machines).
