- I just don't get it. I installed a modem as per the manual (using SAM)
- and the device files seem to be created - so far so good. But when I
- try to run kermit, it reports that the device is busy. I forget which
- device of the three created I am supposed to use, but I tried them all
- without success (SAM creates /dev/cua00 /dev/cul00 /dev/ttyd00).
-
- Anyone had similar experiences? How did you solve it?
- (We have HP9000 workstations - series 400 I believe - and a hayes compatible
- modem).
-
- Thanks,
