- Has anyone had any success playing music CDs on their HP CDROM drive? I have
- a series 6100 model 700/S drive. The manual has a section describing how to
- configure the drive to play audio CDs, but my drive has a different backplane
- (dip switches and jumpers) than the manual illustrations, and I can't get it
- to work. The only dip switches on my drive are to set the SCSI address.
-
- A call to HP brought only some raised eyebrows and "Gee, it works for me" type
- comments. Granted, this is pretty low priority stuff, but it would be nice to
- groove on some of my favorite vibes while I'm wrestling HP-UX.
-
- Anybody have any success with this? The model no. on the bottom of the drive
- is: TXM3301A1.
