  12. Has anyone had any success playing music CDs on their HP CDROM drive? I have 
  13. a series 6100 model 700/S drive. The manual has a section describing how to
  14. configure the drive to play audio CDs, but my drive has a different backplane
  15. (dip switches and jumpers) than the manual illustrations, and I can't get it
  16. to work. The only dip switches on my drive are to set the SCSI address.

  18. A call to HP brought only some raised eyebrows and "Gee, it works for me" type
  19. comments. Granted, this is pretty low priority stuff, but it would be nice to
  20. groove on some of my favorite vibes while I'm wrestling HP-UX.

  22. Anybody have any success with this? The model no. on the bottom of the drive
  23. is: TXM3301A1.
