  10. Today when I mashed the mail icon in the button-bar at the bottom of
  11. my VUE screen, elm came up in a window with a new background color,
  12. and the font was dinky.

  14. Newly-created terminal windows also now come up with the dinky
  15. font and new background color.
  16.  
  17. This has all happened before.
  18.  
  19. I'm using a 720 with HP-UX 8.07.
  20.  
  21. Q1:  What is "rotting" in the system that causes the windows suddenly
  22. to be created with a new font and background color?
  23.  
  24. Q2:  What can I do to make it stop?
  25.  
  26. Q3:  What can I do to change the font back to the correct size?  So
  27. far, the only way I've found to fix it is to reboot.
