  13. I just received a quote from an HP sales rep and
  14. in this quote are estimates for delivery times.
  15. The average delivery time for most of the equipment
  16. is about six weeks (a little high, but I can live
  17. with that).  The shocker was the CD-ROM drive;
  18. 11 weeks, I am not making this up.  You have to
  19. sit down for this next one: the power cord for
  20. the CD-ROM drive will take 14 weeks.  Does anyone
  21. in the company realize you cannot install unbundled
  22. software without the drive.  All this makes me
  23. lose confidence in HP; one has to ask, are they
  24. a serious workstation company?
