- I guess I'm in the 'few percent'. I have a digital integrated amp which
- I feed 'bits' from both my CD and LaserDisk players. I use co-axial for
- the CD and optical for the Laser.

- It should be noted that the digital output from these units is the
- Sony/Philips Digital Interchange Format (S/PDIF) would not be as
- powerfull as a SCSI interface. The S/PDIF is a one-way stream while the
- SCSI would be 2-way. The only way to 'request' a track would be via the
- front panel and reading the disk for specific frames is obviously not
- possible with the consumer gear.
