- I am having problems using tcsh 6.01.00 on an HP 9000/720 using hpux
- 8.07. The problem is related to the term shell variable and /etc/termcap.
-
- When I log in to the HP from a Sun (telnet, rlogin) tcsh locks up when the
- term variable is "sun-cmd". It does not lock up if term is "sun". When I
- say "locks up" I mean that I do not get a command prompt and am also not able
- to 'intr' (control-C) or suspend the process from the keyboard.
-
- I have already placed the termcap entries for "sun" and "sun-cmd" in the
- HP's /etc/termcap.
-
- Any hints or suggestions?
-
- Peace,
