- I am looking for recommendations and opinions on HP's lower end
- scientific calculators such the HP42S and HP32S2 and even HP28S.
- I've used the HP28S and HP48SX quite a bit and was thinking about
- getting either the HP42S or HP32S2 as a gift for a friend. Problem
- is I don't want the calculator to be too complicated. Would like
- alpha-numeric support allowing storage of scientific formulas
- and the ability to solve them similar to 28S and 48SX. I read
- in the Elek-Tek catalog that the 42S has HP solve but the 32S2
- does not... Could anyone elaborate on the 42S and 32S2 solvers
- and equation handling abilities? Can I store in any formula
- like 3*SIN(3X)+5 or multi-variable equations like 3Y*SIN(2X) or
- anything like that? If not perhaps then the 28S is the way to
- go...
-
- Thanks
- PS Please respond via posts on the net. Perhaps others would find it
- useful as well...
