  13. We've got dec 5000/20s with monochrome monitors.  How do I access their
  14. frame buffers directly?  The man pages are useless, the include
  15. files seem incomplete, the mit X11R5 sources seem out of date.
  16. We seem to be running Ultrix 4.2A.
  17.  
  18. What I really need is a screenblanker/screensaver that works outside
  19. of the X window system, because we can't use the Xprompter login
  20. method (we have our reasons), and our users can't be trusted with
  21. brightness knobs :-/.
