- We've got dec 5000/20s with monochrome monitors. How do I access their
- frame buffers directly? The man pages are useless, the include
- files seem incomplete, the mit X11R5 sources seem out of date.
- We seem to be running Ultrix 4.2A.
-
- What I really need is a screenblanker/screensaver that works outside
- of the X window system, because we can't use the Xprompter login
- method (we have our reasons), and our users can't be trusted with
- brightness knobs :-/.
