  12. I remember that this was covered a couple of months ago, but I didn't
  13. think I'd need it then.  Well I do now.  How do I go about installing
  14. Ultrix on a non-DEC "unsupported" drive.  When we try to
  15. do the install of Ultrix, it comes up with:

  17. Unable to obtain device geometry for rz0.
  18. This is not a supported system disk.

  20. Unfortunately, it is the only disk.  It is a Seagate ST1480N, which
  21. is supposed to be close to an RZ25.  It is 400 MB, but I'm not sure
  22. whether that is formatted or unformatted.

  24. Anyway, we'd like to get the installation done, so any help would
  25. be appreciated.  This would be a great thing to add to the Ultrix
  26. FAQ on gatekeeper and friends.
