  12.    I wish to explain a posting I made recently, which was very
  13. critical of Dec's hardware service.

  15.    I was in a frustrated mood when I posted it and said some things
  16. that I now regret.  It is now my understanding that Dec is making
  17. significant efforts to provide Penn State with the hardware support it
  18. needs to properly manage a workstation laboratory.

  20.    We are actually rather pleased with the new equipment that Dec has
  21. supplied.  This equipment was a good choice for us.  But in any new
  22. lab environment, not everything will be perfect.  Working together
  23. with Dec, we hope to get the remaining problems ironed out.
